hello everyone today I'm Quartermaine if you making a video on how to set up our crab tanks so let's get started first thing you'll need is a ten gallon tank ten guns are preferred but you can also get a twenty twenty these are very good too so then after you have your tank what you'll need is at the bottom you'll need substrate that's when it's found at the bottom you'll need either sand Eko earth or dirt please not dirt from outside just don't get the wrong side so after you have that and you'll need four bottom four bowls large one for fresh water then the next one is for fruits and veggies the next one which is smaller for kibble and then the next one which is in the middle for sea water so that big one at back of there is fresh water so they can bathe and drink this is their fruits and veggies then that is their food back there this is what I have go to charm in it's got these flakes and it's very good for them and as I'm indeed see and eat it fantastic for your coats so after you have that well you'll need a little house because they like to get away from the Sun sometimes or light so I have this little Solo Cup that I cut a hole in and they love hiding in there it's so much fun for them so then what you need next is something for them to climb on the hermit crabs adore climb and they will climb all the time climb on everything anything and everything so I got this fat piece of driftwood and it's perfect got for about five bucks its Petco it is so perfect I've got one looks like ant cranny to hide in they non it all the time and just a nice basking spot then they don't really like to think out right outside I boiled it to make sure that it it wasn't hadn't any bacteria in it now will need shells you can get all types of shells some with with some with oval openings circle openings where I openings or D openings Ecuadorians love the D shape worms and the violas love the oval shape but just depends now will I for every crab and then same with these sir circle opening now so I mother-of-pearl in here and they love that it's nice and smooth on their little abdomens and they love it this is a turbo shell you've got that type spiral and they love it especially purple pictures so they like that then you'll need a lamp as a heat source or Pat heating pad whichever it just keeps them nice and toasty more on cuz I hate being cold so you'll definitely most definitely need one of those then another thing you'll need is a spray bottle with fresh two chlorinated water you can also use bottled water that's fine too and that's why I use then you're just avoiding their food spits it spits the walls and toys of the tank just to keep it nice and moist so they can breathe then another thing is they need calcium to support their exoskeleton so I have here it's a cuddle bone it's full of calcium it's perfect to scrape it off to their food flavorless and they won't taste any calcium so it's perfect so I hope this so I hope this video really help you with your horror crabs it's really working good for me in my homes they adore it and they're active and healthy so I'll see you next time be sure to LIKE and subscribe bye
