cork from the inside of a bottle well part of a cork if a cup breaks during opening and you're not able to fiddle the last part of the cork out then a lot of people push it with a thumbing to the bottle and then it swims inside the Bowens looks ugly and while they are not amused to see that and they would like to to get the the part of the residue of a cork out of this whisky as fast as they can the typical failure of a cork is done by well the user the problem is not inside the bottle the problem stays in front of the bottle because people do not know how to open a bottle the right way they are front I took this video to tell you from my personal well mechanical engineering standpoint how to remove a cork from a bottle so but if things happen to [ __ ] happen sorry happens we have to do something about against that well here we have the doll we need 29 years old and I took a video of this one already and it's a wonderful wonderful wonderful whisky and well how to do that well one thing is you pull pour out the whiskey into something different in a different bottle and then well you dump this bottle and you stay with the other one this is a solution but I personally like to have the orange but oh yeah I want to see the whiskey in the surrounding in its micro surrounding the people thoughts it will be best for this whiskey yeah to make things short this is a wine cork which does not really fit to this bottle um and here half are more than half of these corks swims in the whisky the first thing is you pour the whiskey out of the bottle and there's always said oh if you're pouring whiskey out of the bottle completely are in a carafe for urine for a bar presenter then you're increasing oxidization inside whisky that's true for young whisky that's especially true for PT whiskey where a lot of well not fully oxidized compounds from the combustion from the incomplete combustion of the peat is in the whisky this may oxidize and the young whiskey may also oxidize but if a whiskey laid for 29 years in a cask and discuss and raft with the surrounding so in winter whiskey compresses and tears fresh air in and in summer it expands and it expands quite large it's more than a percent in volume then you can see how the cask breath is and then fresh oxygen come oxygen comes in and oxidated oxidization is enforced so this one is old 99.9% oxidized so there's no I have no fear that this pouring will change the taste of the whiskey but I'm pouring well with the gentle hand and so that nowhere is we rolled inside the whiskey and there are no bubbles inside the whiskey just gently pour it out and make sure that the cork is not blocking the opening of the bottle and here I can see there are some smaller parts of the cork also staying inside the bottle and if there's too much of these deborah's inside the bottle well then you have to use a a tea filter the paper filter cellulose is from cellulose ease with which you you make your tea fresh tea and not a deep and with this tea filters you can clean up so here you see there's still some dippers left so how to remove it it's really easy to take a plastic bag this one from the fridge or freezer you move it inside the bottle then you shake the bottle that the cork moves this moves to the top and then you inflate the bag but not too much because if you inflate it too much then it will be tore apart if you Tara now you can see the inflating now you push the torque to the bottom a little bit so much of air inside here we go here's the park very good it's no TCA in it and the weird excrements of bacteria which is smelling so bad no cargas all rights and the whiskey has been alright when I tasted it so I will clean up the bottle fill it up with whisky again again be careful so I have a stable hand so I will do it and what is very important is that you have spare corks this is the other half of the court here you can see there's nothing bad in it it's just well it was a rough hand breaking this car apart and you know this was the way um and I have a wooden box of no can do over no wood no candle which is empty now and whenever a dump a bottle a little bottle I take the cork look at it well it looks quite good into this box and when I have something like this I look in ads and most often I find a fitting cork there are differences there are millimeters different differences between
