ha I'm David with smart escapes LLC here in Nashville Tennessee on our early spring morning and what were you here to talk to you today is about how to create an edge with a spade shovel and everybody has a dreaded time of year where they have to ream oltre but pon straw out or whatever and what's the best way to get an edge there's several different ways to do it one of them's a mechanical way you can go rent a bed edger from your Lowe's or Home Depot or whatever and what it does is it provides an edge for you that goes down about four inches and then cuts back into the bed at a forty-five now rent a bed edger can call some money it's what sixty ninety dollars a day and it does a good job but also if you have any irrigation or lighting underground it can also tear it up so a lot of times we find ourselves falling back on a little spade method and it's real simple to do just take your shovel set it in the ground on the edge kick it down about three to four inches now I see some people throwing the dirt back into the bed up for not too I like to put it in the trusty wheelbarrow but all it is is doing it over and over and in a succession eight inches at a time again I'm David with smart escapes LLC here in Nashville Tennessee come check us out our website wwlp.com
