is how to sow seeds outdoors. When you are planting a garden there can be a lot of different
kind of seeds that all have very different requirements so first rule is check the seed
packet. It probably has a lot of instruction on there. As a general rule of thumb raised
beds are good, nice tiled Earth like this, plenty of compost and taking care of any weeks
to make sure it is free of any weeds and nice and smooth and even like this. Depending on
the season you will be sowing your seeds either before or after the last frost. The easiest
way to do it is with a common garden trowel such as this one and you can either make rows
in the soil for some things like salad mix or radishes or something like that or you
can make specific holes at specific depths and specific spacings for the fruiting plants
like tomatoes or zucchinis or peppers. If that is all you have a trowel, then you can
take your seeds and sprinkle them in the row like that. Check again the seed packet for
the spacing because different plants require really different seed spacings and if you
have got single individual plants then you can just put one seed in every hole that you've
made like that. As a general rule of thumb it is good to plant a seed about twice the
depth that it is itself high so that if you've got a really really tiny seed maybe you plant
it at an eighth of an inch or a quarter of an inch and if you've got a bigger seed like
a bean or a squash seed then you can plant it an inch or even up to two inches depending
on that size. Once you put the seed in the ground you just lightly cover it up, make
sure you water them in good, keep it watered throughout the season maybe once a week or
so and make sure to keep it really free of weeds for the best yields on whatever you
