in this clip I'm going to show you how to make umbrellas out of construction paper like this one here the first thing you have to do is take a piece of construction paper trace down a circle and draw a little bit of a pie shape out of that and then taking your pinking shears you're going to go quickly around you're going to cut this out right like this all the way around pinking shears make a nice jig jag zigzag border kinda nice and then you're going to want to cut in and remove a slice of the pie and you're going to take your glue stick put a little bit of glue on here and you're going to overlap that edge and almost ready now I'm going to take my skewer and I'm going to take the pointed end and I'm going to break this off and I'm going to go ahead and put a little glue stick on my skewer and all I have to do now is just pop it through the top hole and I have my umbrella
