welcome to cooking for dogs this week we're making golden peanut butter cookies we're going to need a baking tray lined with parchment paper a spatula a wooden spoon rolling pin some cookie shapes and the large mixing bowl for our ingredients we have whole-wheat flour rolled oats we have smooth peanut butter honey fish oil and some water let's get started add the flour and oats together and mix in a large mixing bowl quantities and conversions will be listed in the description box below we're going to pour 1 cup of water and blend until smooth I'm going to add the water slowly just until the mixture is thick and doughy now add the peanut butter at the honey and the fish oil and mix together until it's all well blended the fish oil is full of amiga's trees and is great for your dog's coat lightly flour your working surface and roll the dough out to a quarter of an inch thick here's a handy tip rub a little olive oil onto the palms of your hands it will stop the cookie dough sticking to your hands sprinkle the cookie dough with extra flour to stop it sticking to the rolling pin once you've rolled the cookie dough flat take your cookie cutter shapes and begin to cut out the shapes that you need space them out and place them on your baking tray now we want to bake these in a moderate oven for approximately 30 to 40 minutes check the cookies towards the end of the baking time they should be golden brown on top remove them from the oven when they're cooked and place on a cooling rack it's time for the taste test and Greggy is only too happy to oblige Oscar's keen to join in the taste testing and of course the playtime we'd love you to share this video and subscribe to our Channel check out our social media sites Facebook Instagram and Twitter look forward to hearing your comments and feedback have a great week
