all right everyone here is an excellent recipe it's a little tonic that you can use to get your grass greener looking lush and ready to grow just like a carpet all you do is you mix up all these things some baby shampoo some regular cola can be any brand as long as it's regular not diet some ammonia and some instant tea and you'll mix all that up in a 20 gallon here hose end sprayer and then you will spray it on your lawn to the point of runoff so the proper procedure for mixing these things is you use a cup of baby shampoo i just get this at the dollar store so it's cheap and you just go ahead and dump it right in you can use a liquid or dry measure you know it doesn't really matter or you can use the measurements on the side of your sprayer but just get about a cup in there okay then you'll go ahead and pour it in there let all that get out okay then we're gonna go ahead and put a cup of cola in there again regular not diet now i'm going to do a little extra because it you can see it kind of foams up a little as you pour it that and it's mixing with the baby shampoo so it's creating a suds that was probably about a half a cup so we'll just do that again there's a little less foam there and dump it in then you can take a look on the side here and you can see that we need a little bit more cola so we'll just take a look here you could also do it like this but keep in mind heavier liquids will settle to the bottom so you will see layers until you mix it up all right after that so we have our cup of baby shampoo cup of our cola there now we need a cup of ammonia so we'll take that go ahead and pour in there careful not to breathe the ammonia too much if you're sensitive you may need a respirator all right we'll get that pour it right in there oh it's powerful stuff i spilled a little bit so we're just gonna get a little shot there there we go okay get the cap on that before i pass out then instant t now this is only four tablespoons and a tablespoon would be the big spoon out of your drawer or you could use a tablespoon measure i just kind of like to tap them like that so they're kind of heaping a little bit you can see i got a little bit of a heap on there so i'll do one two three four all right so i put all that in there and then you can see we are almost full so what i'll do is fill the remaining balance up with warm water and then spray the lawn okay so before i hook it up outside here on the hose i'm going to go over the science of each of these and why this is going to work for you so the baby shampoo is something that will clean off your grass and it opens up kind of the pores of the grass it's just like a dish soap or something like that it gets on the blades of grass and then it'll open up the pores and allow it to absorb the nutrients the cola will provide with sugar and a burst of caffeine caffeine is also good for plants not only for humans in small doses so that will encourage that grass to kind of stand up straight and grow the ammonia is a good cleaner it also cleans out the grass and it gives it uh like a renewed life kind of like a shot of vodka or something like that and the nestea provides a good balance of breakdown sugar that they will absorb slowly and it will also provide them with a little bit of caffeine to kind of rejuvenate the blades of grass and make them a little bit thicker and also make them stand up a little taller and it will deepen the green color of your grass okay so this is what the grass looks like now you can see it's got a lot of different colors in there the blades aren't super thick and there's a lot of dead grass kind of in there mixed in here's the little sampling of it it's really just kind of thin wispy grass so what we're gonna do is take this and we're going to spray it down like crazy so we'll just go like that and again you just kind of hose until the point of runoff so you really want to apply it on thick all right so this is the last section of lawn here i've had to refill the sprayer one time in between so it took me two applications and uh depending on the size of your lawn you may need more or less but if it is less make sure just go over some spots twice and use it all up okay so here we are a couple days later you can see the grass is a lot greener it didn't get rid of all the the dead grass in there because that'll have to be raked out but you can see all this grass that's green is more vibrant it also feels a lot thicker kind of like carpet and it's much more difficult to pull out so it's definitely stronger and the the blades look a lot more healthy you can see they're just that vibrant green so that is it if you put that tonic on a couple times a month for pretty damaged grass and in a few months you should have a really nice green lawn
