what's up everyone the samurai eight six one zero and today I thought I'd make a quick video on how to pendulum summon and also to explain pendulum summoning now know the new char deck just came out today so I don't know if maybe you know it's just some people out there that are newer players or maybe you've been playing in for a while but you just don't understand pendulum summoning so I thought this video would really help out a lot of people on there alright so here we go first off you have the new play mat this one you get in the star tag as well as I guess we'll start seeing play mats with this design as you can tell they are a little bit different as you can see the new pendulum zones you can see there's a blue one and there's a red one now you have right there as well as on this play map for this demonstration I have a deck of cards right there that's going to count as the deck and then of course this will symbolize the extra deck right here all right now for the new pinch on monsters what they look like and how they work and everything all right you get two new pendulum monsters from the Star Trek you get timegazer magician and stargazer magician right in this of course as you can see there have spell cards have effect monsters the two have levels everything attack and all that but they also have a pendulum effect kind of like a spell card effect sort if you want to explain it like that whenever they were in a pendulum zone this effect works whenever they are summit as an actual monster as they can be then that's the effect that you will go with it just like a regular monster effect as well as they still have their scales this is a new thing that a pinch of monsters have where they have a scale of different cards in there and of course when you pendulum summon use these skills to figure out what kind of monsters you're able to bring out which we'll get to right now actually right to pendulum summon let's say you have these cards in your hands and you have some other monster cards as we'll get to all right first off you play stargazer magician in this binge limbs own and then you get timegazer magician and place it in this one as you can see - I should show this real quick time yours magician has a different scale it has a scale of eight so that means since we have a scale of one we have a scale of eight we're able to bring out monsters that are in between those numbers so monsters with level 2 through 7 can be pendulum someone using these two cards as well as they can both also be using their pendulum effects now cuz they are in the zones all right now for this let's say these monster cards on your hands so you're ready to pendulum summon so your you pendulum summon odd-eyes dragon which is one the new records of course is level 7 so that fits into the zone on that then there's less drag on a level 4 monster you can bring out the snare 1 aether the empowering dragon which is a level 6 monster which also has an effect that when it is pendulum summon that activates 2 and then hunter dragon which is level 3 of course you can also like to bring out level 2 monsters you know through 7 of course I don't have an example for a level 2 monster so those are just kind of just basic examples on that also when a pinch on monster is destroyed it's like let's say for example we have another pinch of mustard over here as I pick up a time gazer magician let's say I summoned it and then it was destroyed where does it go does it go to the graveyard no a pendulum monster goes to the Extra Deck as you can see you just place on top of the extra jack just like that all right and then whenever again just kind of pretend that you have another pendulum monster over here where its scale would allow for a level 3 monster to be brought out and then whatever you're going for a pendulum summon not only can you control someone from your hand you can pinch them summon the other pendulum monsters that are on top of your extra deck as well so let's say I brought all those cards out I already have another pendulum over there well I'm also able to go for town gazer magician and summon it as well on the field it works better for other monsters of course that have you know a little bit stronger attack and defense in store you know attack an effect and stuff but you know we're just kind of using example these two pendulum monsters and there you go and of course whenever a monster is in a pendulum zone it can be destroyed by spell destroying cards it is counted as a spell card so you know cards like that can get rid of it as well that's how a pendulum summoning works I really hope this helped out a lot of people on that maybe you are confused maybe just want kind of refresher on how to pendulum summon or you know you're new to the game also if you have any questions about pendulum summoning or just the game itself like I said there could be some newer players out there ask in the comments it does not hurt to ask you're better off asking a question than messing up in a tournament or something you know it's better off to know the rules on stuff like that as always thank you for watching ready to commit rate and subscribe be sure to subscribe for the latest yugioh news helpful videos like this as well as some demos I'm going to try to see if I can come up with something that will involve the a pinch of monsters of course and I do plan to get the powerup pack as well and I do have an opening of the Star Trek if you plan to get one of the new starter decks whether you get back into your or you just want the new pinch on monsters -
