hi I'm Michelle pie and here we are in the English Couture shop have you ever come to celebrate hem on a jacket to find that no matter how fine a stick to take it looks like you've still got claw marks on the right side or we've got a product we call instant stitch hemming tape and it's applied just using an iron and you just fold it up and iron it on let me show you how with our iron in our workroom so here we are in the workroom I'm apt to demonstrate the techniques to make your sewing life easier so here's our instance stitch hemming tape as you can see is two very fine layers of interfacing stitch down the middle and all we're going to do to apply it is turn up our coat hem so move that out of the way so we know exactly where this plate needs to be and then we're going to open that up so we can see the crease place the hemming tape right next door to your crease and fold it back up and then it's just a combination of heat and steam which will stick this in place if you want to absorb the steam straight away use our point presser and clappa and so when you turn that over there's no stitch lines to receive that you
