well here we are we're tracking a possum down through moon through this field edge last night we're going to make a set form here this afternoon right here looks like a pretty good spot possum trap their hides are bringing it up work to twenty-five dollars this year so we want to maximize honor or opportunities while we're out on the trapline traffic predators now if awesome when you're trafficking you want to leave as little as sin as possible we've dug our in here we're going to use this little twig as a backing we've got that dug out there everything's ready and get this brand-new Pogo driver tried-and-true Pogo driver got my Pogo on there I'll get her started let me whoop her down here just a second alright cut that Pogo droving the ground pull up on it set it and we got to work on our trap here this is the Montgomery number 11 it's a mighty fine possum traps all right we got her set there and put all that stuff and bottom in shrap bed and push from that trip real hard and wiggle it around take that dirt from that trap bed pack it in there then possums fill that trap wiggle any at all they will dig it right up it's no joke I've been an expert and possum trapping for the last six years and really glad to see the markets come up and we've been flat wearing them out we stop about every three miles on the road and pick up everyone off the road salvage as many of them as we can such a beautiful animal like a possum hate to just see it go to waste we got our trap bedded solid want to put a little peat moss on there that's what I got my Ceptor for I forgot about it put this over here that's beautiful this is going to have a possible and as soon as we leave here there's one waiting ride to learn to get in and I promise we'll get that bedded down there you take this what's left of your dirt out of your trap bed give it a little sip like this sift it down and you're ready to rock and roll we got to get a little litter let me walk to the truck and get it real quick alright we got a little possum urine here and a little trapper Steve top-notch possum Slayer that's what we got just take your your opossum slam there at this litter we get from a buddy of mine trapper Steve that's his name trapper Steve calm you can check it out on the Internet get you a little wiggle it down in there that twink purr backing put it on right there you leave your stick kind of shoving the ground that makes it hard for him to get and also trapper Steve he's got a full line of a possum here and you can buy male or female and he bottles it up he's got about 600 possums in his backyard in the cage and it's all funneled down it's fresh collected urine from them you take this rub a little around there put it on the other side you want him not to know what ways don't come in just bobble into that trap you see well like I said that's all it takes to catch a possum with their hides bringing in upwards of $25 this year we're going to maximize while we're out on the trapline we've been trapping predators you know raccoons and stuff like that we're going to wrap it up here we're going to go on to the house that's another successful day in the life
