hey guys welcome back to island vibe cooking today we're making Kathy Cody from start to finish and also make sure to help us out and click the subscribe button because we're trying to reach one KB for 2016 is over so let's begin we're starting with clean hands we're going to use 2 cups of flour 1 tablespoon of baking soda and also some salt and a little bit of Maggi we're going to pour 1/2 cup of water in there and then we're also using 2 tbsp of vegetable oil any type of oil basically we're going to pour that in there and then we're going to mix it with the water now that your flowers mix you can start using your hand which is clean and we're going to basically use our hands to mix the rest of the flower now that we're done I'm going to put that in the fridge and now we're going to cut our stuffing I am using three hot dogs cut them really small and also I am using what am i using next I am using smoke Erin and make sure you cut that really really small because they do have little bones in there basically you can cut them really chop them really small and I'm also adding half a onion in there small like I said cut them small because they can poke your dough when you're cooking it your patty so make sure you cut them small so they don't poke the dough and also I'm adding um some red and green bell pepper in there our Panera pepper not too much we're going to mix that with the smoked herring you can't forget the eggs I am using two eggs to add inside the patty now this is a snapshot of how everything look now we're going to spread out a dough before you do make sure you add some flour on whatever you spreading your dough on and now we're going to add the filling inside the dough make sure it's really large and not thin make sure it's a little bit thick so it doesn't pop open when you frying it now we're going to start with the smoke Aaron first make sure you add your pepper but basically you just add all the filling in there this is what it looks like when it's done now time for the folding the trickiest part make sure you fold it really good don't let any um spot open because if it's open oil will get in there and your patty will taste like oil so you make sure you sild it really good with your thumb or whatever you using to filled it with because that will prevent oil to get in there and it will make sure your filling is steamed that's how they will cook so yeah make sure you sewed it really good now after you're done you can add some design I am using a fork to add some design on the little ends make sure your oil is hot not too hot where it will saute your pocket because at a certain point if it's too hot it was just cook the outside of the patty so make sure your oil is not too hot so you can have an even cooked side patty now you can flip it over because you trying not to burn your patty so you can flip it over at this point when the patty is done frying make sure you strain it a little bit because you don't want to eat greasy patty and you can put it on the napkin to soak up all the oil and basically this is how it's looking when it's done thank you for watching make sure to LIKE thumbs up and I'll see you guys on the next video bye guys
