you oh hey everyone this is michaela it's one horsepower here to show you how you can make a temporary halter for your horse using a lead rope this would be good in any case when maybe your horse gets out and you obviously have to go get it and on your way out the only thing you can grab his later up and you can't go searching for a halter because your horse is running around loose and so you grab the lead rope and just get after your horse this really drop will work in the cases like that or maybe when your horse just used to get moved from the stall to the paddock or vice versa just little things like that that this tip will come in handy so stay tuned and i will teach it to you okay so i'm using beta here with me today she's our senior horse is um so obviously to start off you will get hair you will get your lead rope and get the buckle side of it and put it over the horse's neck and we're just going to kind of scoot it down the buckle side should be on the right side opposite of where you're standing now this is kind of hanging there and then also the lead rope is right behind the ear worthy normally where the halter would go the back of the halter and then we're going to just let this hang for now and we're going to take the piece I'm going to right sides a pace with the side of the buckle I'm actually going to give it more piece at the side of the buckle and we're going to bring it over her nose like that so I'll show you again so I like I said leave this here and we're just going to take this piece under the cheekbone and then over the muzzle over the nose now we've got came all around with let the buckle back here again what you're going to do is that's when you take this piece and just hook it onto the lead rope itself you can see right there and then push it up to whatever your horse needs it to be make sure this is behind ears and there you go that is the temporary halter how do you like it betta first time I grumbles okay well it's shedding season as you cannot see but that is it I mean this you can see it kind of leaves a little lead rope but this is works really well in any temporary situations obviously you will have to keep it pushing us up every now and then but not too bad and once outside I will point out is that the buckle right here buckle right here may if it doesn't fit on the lead rope then this won't really work for that but most lead ropes I see Buckley's you just fit around the lead rope so that should not be a problem for you so thank you guys for watching please like this video like it for beta and subscribe and comment down below if you have any questions or whatever thank you guys
