so we're just having an update on my bonsai tree and it was owned cleaning it with flourishing for the first few days but I have tried to keep the soil kind of moist but it's a really difficult tricky one I've tried to plant in many different locations for direct sunlight I did put it on a windowsill above a radiator and then the next morning all the leaves kind of wilted and a lot of them were dropping off and the plant does look really really dry I've looked into some other YouTube videos and done some research and there's so many people saying different things like you need to water it once a week there's people saying you need to water it every single day if we can get a close-up look you can see where a lot of the leaf every day it's just sort of you can see this leaf here it's just sort of like drying out and then citizen can touch the tree that will probably fall off no but yeah it is see that with just the leaves are just like drying out and falling off so there are some new leaves growing and coming through so I do have hope for the bonsai tree at the moment I just really really would be disheartened and guys if the tree actually died because it's taken seven years just to grow this small tree it can get up closer up look and you can see there are some new leaves coming free as you can see little tiny leaves coming through so I do think there is hope with the tree I'm just like trying in different locations around the house to see what the tree prefers which locations or like more direct sunlight I mean we are having bad weather it's not so in the UK s or so hot but what I'm going to do is I'm going to try submerging the container in water and warming it from bottom up rather than waring the actual soil and then see how we go from there so I'm going to do that and then we will come back what I've done here is I've just got a normal Tupperware container I have filled the top aware container with water except we'll go down you can see the just so the water can soak up through the drainage holes at the bottom of the container the bottom of the pot I'm going to leave this for about two to three hours and then see whether we have actually any difference in the plant and the leaves I mean I do have hope for it because there are some new leaves bubble running phantom you can see there are some new leaves that are coming through just trying to get some angle where you can see some of them you can see there are some new ones coming through the leaves aren't really going yellow some of them are dropping off but I still have hope I'm just hoping right here you can see where there's a new shoot coming through there are some but then there are some if you look around the back side here you can see where this will join out especially this one here and let's come back to this and see whether the tree that actually perked up in three hours time falling off so I've just read an article online that said if you play music to plants in general that the music lifts the mood and the spirit of the pond so and they grow back so I could not think of a better song I thought I'd give this a try I could not think of a better song than Shawn Mendes treat you better because I want to treat my bonsai to you about so if you give me a second one but what I've been doing already is I've been playing some windows treat you better on repeat for the past hour now yeah so I've basically just been playing Shawn Mendes - you better all repeat over and over and over I'm going to continue playing the song over and over again for another 2-3 hours and then we're going to come back and see whether Shawn Mendes can save battery yes so I've been playing the song by Shawn Mendes - you bout over and over now for about three hours and I'm not even going to lie to you I'm just sorry this is a bit awkward with the camera angle I mean at the moment I've placed a bonsai tree right near the TV I've got there's YouTube on and I'm not even going to lie I'm going to sleep we're going to a close-up in a second but yeah is definitely perked up and Shawn Mendes you have saved my tree guarantee I'm going to people and playing this song every day - and all Shawn when Shawn Mendes songs see this bonsai tree because I'm going to let me go close up closer look but it has definitely a hundred percent perked up in the leaves and it's definitely worked Shawn Mendes you are amazing you
