hey everybody it's Jay and let's talk about some fire now usually on 15 pieces of flair I'm going over waves you can spruce up your game room but my wife's birthday is coming up she wanted a fire pit and I like making videos so I'm going to show you all how I made my wife a fire pit for her birthday for this project we're gonna need 36 pavers a shovel two bags of paver sand two tubes of landscaping adhesive and two bags of landscaping rocks to start lay out your pavers in a circle where you want your fire pit to be use your shovel to stick into the ground around the circumference of the pavers remove all the pavers then use the shovel to break up all the grass and the interior of the circle then remove the layer of grass and the entire circle I had helped with the entire process to make the worm collecting a little easier you may also want to use a shovel to remove the grass if you don't want to get your hands too dirty now my lawn where I put my fire pit was a little uneven so I had to make the backside of the circle a little deeper to make sure the final product was a little more level once you get all the grass out you don't have to get every single piece of grass or weeds out of there but the more you get the better then once I got all that grass out I use my hands to roughly smooth out all the dirt then we pack down all that dirt by using the whacking it with a shovel technique then I empty two bags of paver sand in the area and then we smooth it out with our hands now we can start adding our blocks don't leave too much of a gap between them like I did here or else you'll have to go back through and correct them then using the landscaping adhesive squirt a generous amount onto the top of a block then place a new block on top of it go around and do that with all twelve blocks I made sure to roughly wipe off each connecting surface before I glued each together once I had that layer done I went ahead to the next layer the blocks all had a little ledge on them so I made sure to add some adhesive to the top of that ledge and a little more generously on the block itself I offset this layer both for looks and for better structural stability then once you got all your blocks on you can open both bags of rocks and have your helpers dump them in then smooth them out and you're ready for your first fire boom there you have it quick and easy way to add some fire to your backyard now this project cost me under $100 took me less than an hour of time to do I was definitely sweating my butt off while I was doing it because it was hot out but easy easy way to add some Flair some fire to your backyard I'm eventually gonna put some pavement or pavers around it to make it a little patio down there I don't know if I'm gonna deviate from my normal board game stuff in the future if you if everybody liked it let me know in the comments below let me know maybe some other stuff you might want me to do I don't know maybe I'll do some more of it catch me anywhere on social media like you always do but until then have fun everybody [Applause]
