Hi you guys! So, today I'm going to be
showing you how to make this super duper cute romper, and you can also use it just
as a beach cover-up if you don't feel comfortable walking outside with this on.
Let's get into it! Turn your leggings inside out and try
them on. Use a pen to mark how short you want your romper to be. Draw a straight
line along where you placed your pin. Add a half inch seam allowance line below
this line. Fold your leggings in half so that the leg with the lines are on the
top layer, then cut along the seam allowance line. Put the remaining legs
aside, and we'll call them "piece A" and "piece B". Transfer the seam allowance
lines onto the other leg. Hem the bottom of each leg, we'll call this, "Piece C". Let me know if you'd like me to make a tutorial on how to sew stretchy fabric without it
getting all curvy, so that it basically stays flat. Take "piece a" and "piece B" and turn them right side out. Try Piece C on and it should still be inside
out, and use a pen to mark the placement of PA and PB to the waistband. Be sure to
keep breast coverage and seam allowance in mind. For a shorter v-neck cut, pin the
edges of Piece A and B together. Also, for more cleavage support, you can
consider adding mini straps to the side of piece A and piece B so that you can
tie it in the back. Then sew the pieces together and finito! You have your
SuperDuper cute romper with a halter top back made out of leggings alright.
