thanks for coming to my channel and today I'm going to show you how to turn the sprout into microgreens and these are fenugreek sprouts and they have been growing for about three days in this container here I have another videos on how to grow these so I'll give you the link to these but anyway this is the third days of the sprout and so I'm going to take these out and then gonna grow this into microgreens and the container I'm going to use is just this regular container this is a to-go box that I order food out of and basically it looks like like that so I just cut the top off and this is what I have so what you need is to add a small layer of soil at the bottom of this so the soil I use is the organic soil potting mix from Fargo whatever that is so what would be first is it will take some soil one hand so it's a little bit difficult well we'll just need us a really thin layer so I want at the bottom this and once I plate this oil here then I'm going to spread it out just a little bit more just like that and you have gloves use that so you're anything get dirty so just a little bit more look it doesn't require much more that much soil so just about that much that's probably about two full or maybe a little bit less of that those that cup so I'm going to just spread it like that and this soil is little dries because I left it under for a while so I'm just going to wet this really well so if you have a container bass holes at the bottom it's a it's probably going to be better because if you overwater this it just drain out but this one doesn't have any any holes so later when you water them just you know sort of like measure how much you need you don't want it this to be sort of like flooding this this plate or a container but since the soil so dry right now that's why there's a lot more water so once you have the soil in place and you wet it really well then you take some of your sprouts and just grab a handful and just spread that out and take some more these brats are little taller than I would like because I just didn't have time to do this so and because these prop grow so fast so leaving this in a few days I mean they just grew so fast Annie and I want this really nice and thick so it's but then I like that all right I think that should be enough in this little container want to fill up all of these even try to be gentle with these because they're very crunchy and fragile so if you sort of like pick up them too hard they'll break and it might damage the roots so just be gentle with those all right so I spread those out or evenly now I'm gonna get a nother layer of soil at the top so you want you want more soil at the top to cover these completely so then it's it high these sprouts under the soil sorry about the shakiness I'm doing this with one hand so it's not a bit difficult so you want to hide all of this and then in a few you leave the here in a few days make sure you get you water them and the sprouts would eventually find its way through the soil naturally but because these are micro green so you want to you want to expose them to as much light as you can set on that much soil I'm gonna hide all my sprouts just like that then if you have it oh you know like a window sills or somewhere you want to put this outside if you like where it gets plenty of light and then you just make sure you water it each day I mention airily if you have drain holes you can water a lot more and if you don't just make sure you measure the amount of water it gets you don't want to drown these Oh flood these because they they won't grow that well with too much water just give it just keep the water moist and don't let them dry out so I'm going to water this since this is the first time I'm going to evenly wet the water really well and I won't have to water it for another day or two because their sprout underneath the least they still like the water so all right so that's uh that's pretty much all you have to do and so if you can cover this up this is like a greenhouse then you place this either outside or by a nice place by the window where it gets plenty of light and then in a few days I'm not sure that I'm gonna keep recording this videos to keep the progress going but anyway that's that's all for today so I'll keep the video going and let you see the progress all right all right today is the first day after the transplant so the it has done too much it just gave it a little bit of water and I I can see that it's starting to push the soil up a little bit and as you can see there it is started to poke through the soil but not much else is happening so this is the very first day after the transplant all right today is the second day of the micro green that I grew from sprouts so the plants has done to grow through the soil see how looks right they're starting to turn green and you can see that these are being the soil is being pushed up a little bit so in a few days then there's bunch more will come out but yeah so anyway that's uh that's the second day after we threw some sprouts into here all right today is day three of the micro green so we threw these brows into this little container three three days ago and this is what they look like today I just gave it a good watering so this totally soils kind of dark right there so it's looking really nice so in a few more days this bunch more will show up but anyway so this is the third day alright guys so this is the 10th day of this fenugreek sprout into my GU green basically I didn't do much to this I just drop some sprouts into there and just let it grow I mean I just watered like that so I do this about any time when I see that gets dry so I just leave it outside it is really low maintenance to this so when it gets dry then I can feel it or you can tell by the weight of the the tray give to some water and it'll grow this is day 10 since we transplanted the sprout into here alright guys today is day 13 of my microgreens so initially and we just grabbed some sprouts and threw in its oil and two weeks later here's what they look like these grew very slowly so I didn't do a daily update so I skip a bunch of days but today is two weeks after the initial video that we through sprouts into here and these are the size of them they are very nice-looking and green they're very healthy for you as well so you can harvest them right now and basically what you want to do is sort of like just take one and then you can pull it out in soil or you can cut the roots off if you like but I just usually just grab a bunch pull it out wash off the soil and throw this in this salad or you can just eat in my sprout however you guys want to do it but they're very good for you so this is very easy to do so this is two weeks after we threw the sprouts into this pot this little container of soil but that's it so um I hope you guys like the videos if you have any questions or comments please leave it below alright but
