hello everyone welcome back my name is Fez how's everyone doing today today we're gonna be on a leash with some tips and tricks on how to build on top of the stone cliff platforms ladies and gentlemen now beginning a lot of questions about it because on my Survival Series I know everything about it I just first time placing it down and started bleeding with it and the reason why is because obviously I'm with the trailer build crew as well as the building for twitchcon and stuff so I've played with this a lot so sit back relax enjoy let me share some tips and tricks about it because it's very very simple and easy as long as you follow along and go step by step so hopefully enjoy if have a good question feel free comment down below let's get started alrighty so let's go over the cliff platform with some tips and tricks about it so the cliff top form if you didn't know is actually a little bit smaller than a regular tree platform so it's very nice it's better modeled in my opinion than the wood and metal ones but it's just me and also it's a lot thinner than a tree platform as well so when you try to place a foundation and try to sink it is actually the foundation is bigger than the platform itself as a cattail there's a size comparison look how much more bigger the foundation is compared to the yeah to the tree popcorn it's crazy so anyways let's go over some stuff so first thing you're gonna do well first thing I want to go over is that if you are downsized about the size relax you know what you can do with these you can intersect a bunch of these together like so so I'm just gonna plop one here just for an example and there we go there's just two cliff platforms connected to each other now the other best thing about this is there is no snap points on it so that means you can build anywhere you want so if you wanted to build a house like this and boom boom you can do that now if you want to be like me and be anal about using the most amount of space as possible and using it efficiently then here we go so what I usually do is I don't use foundations I don't use them because they're really annoying and they're really too thick okay if you use metal stone tech whatever Adobe all of its just too thick for my opinion so what I do is I use a stone fence foundation that's right stone and the reason why I use stone is very simple so if we take a look at this edge right it's a very thick edge we can technically actually place to fence foundations stone ones right in the pretty much here they'll kind of intersect a little bit but you know that's kind of a little thing but this corner piece right around the entire edge of this cliff platform is very very simple you can actually snap to precisely fence foundations or foundations if you want to it now this is what I used to do now you don't have to follow me if you don't and you can do it if you want but this is what I did for the trailer this is what I did for my survival series and this is what I did it for the twitchcon and if you don't know I built for all that so I know what I'm talking about because I've been playing around with this way longer than anyone else so listen to me so what I usually do is because this is what I like to do is I take the stone fence phonation I line it up into the middle like this and I actually go into that little this little bit right here I actually go into it a little bit with the stone found fence foundation with that last little bit circle I kind of go like half way okay just like that now the reason why is you'll see in a second and then I also did a snap another one now it looks kind of weird now but it looks pretty good so what you can do now is you can actually snap two pillars almost precisely perfect now obviously I rush this one a little bit I needed to push this one a little bit back so I'll show you again what I did wrong so you want to make sure you're just roughly right in the middle of it so you just want it to be a little bit edge like that okay just like that and you'll see you'll understand why and how it's not foundation properly if it's not like that okay and then you want to snap another one just like that okay and look what happens boom and boom that is now exactly this precise and how you can tell is see how this section right here is just a little bit smaller and that sections a little bit smaller see how this one is not proper this one's a little bit too big but like it's perfect that's basically what I did now just like a tree platform this works exactly the same exact way what you can do is if you want to have some support structures so for instance if you do something like this I'm just going to place it down and you place a wall here and you wanted to have a ceiling out like this it doesn't work okay what you need to do is you need to put structural support by adding a pillar okay structural support is added from a pillar now what I usually do for structures like these is you can go like this okay you put two in the top two in the bottom and then you can put ceilings on the outside but for the cliff platform it's very it's a little bit different because as you can tell if I do this over here real quick okay you're gonna have this bigger gap and then you're gonna have to do something like this okay so it it's not it's not too bad it's a little bit of annoyance but I quite like how small the cliff platform is so what I usually do is I actually snap these inwards okay and what I usually do is make some sort of decorative piece inwards now there's a couple things you can do with this actually when you're done with this right so for one if you wanted to you can Swan in some ramps so let's get some ramps let's do some wooden ramps like this and you can do something like this is just a little bit of a little bit of a thing now obviously what happens is underneath you get a little bit of a little bit of a thing down here but like it kind of lines up with this wood piece so it actually kind of works it works pretty well for me I don't know that's what I kind of like to do but you can also still have is these now the cool thing about this right it's as soon as you place down a wooden ceiling inwards or outwards meaning of its here or out here you can actually destroy these walls okay and the reason why is the structural support of the pillar is supporting with the fence foundation the fence foundation is supporting the entire structure of this build right here in front of me from the two wooden walls underneath in the ceiling it's kind of one entire piece because what happens if I destroy the pillar the entire thing goes poof everything gets destroyed if I Kemp the pillars in and play it replays everything back obviously like that like this and then we play some more on the other side now we have a structure just like we did it again and you're gonna have a nice big open balcony for your friends to come and hang out or fly a rock Drake little jacoub Drake's a little bit bigger but you know it can kind of fit but um but yeah that's pretty much it if you want to also get smaller you can use a fence foundation a little bit down through here now the metal one you know it's it's kind of like the same thing I don't know it's personally you can do whatever now obviously this right here this section right here is a fence foundation thickness as well just a little bit it's just a little bit too big so you'll have a little bit of a problem but at least you can do something like this if you really wanted to you do a fence foundation here fence phonation heel in someone you could basically just go in an entire circle and then what you can do is connect a bunch of pillars like so and and do a bunch of little things but I am but anyways that's it a lot of people were asking me how I did a lot of stuff on my single play are my Survival Series on my server so I did a video real quickly explaining exactly how the stuns because obviously I don't what I'm talking about I've done this longer than anyone else because you know help them out with build stuff and you know I gotta thank you Wildcat very very very much
