hey guys today i'm going to be teaching you how to do this really simple um like a swilly braid thing let me just show you the lighting's not really great but there are two ways to do it you can do it this way let me go like this or you can do it this way let me just open the curtains effect i don't know if that helped yeah so that's what we're going to be doing so we're going to start and you'll need four strands at a minimum so let me just stick these two to the side okay so i am using i am using orange there's a light orange dark orange pink and blue so i'm just going to put the pink and the blue together and the oranges together like so then what you want to do is you just want to take the oranges like so you just want to twist them just wrap them around each other like so whoops and you can do this really loose but i like mine to be really really tight so i'm just gonna wrap them around each other pretty loose and then just pull and then they go real tight and i just do that until it's at the length that i want it to be so i'm going to show you how to do it the way that we did with the blue and this way just to grab these two and then just wrap these two just as they are next to each other around the swirled strand and i really like the look of this especially if the two colors are really vibrant but because they're both oranges you don't really see the swirl when you do it this way i'll just show you guys anyway and it just i don't know it just looks really really cool and this is super simple it's like the simplest thing you could make so yeah and then the second thing you can do is just do what we was doing with the orange carry on swirling and just get it as tight as you want it oh my gosh the lighting is really bad in here i'm so sorry so some swirly just how you want it and then you're going to take one of the oranges whoops tighten it up and do a forward knot so i'm going to take the light orange and do a forward knot around the dark orange so for a backward knot and doesn't matter if swirl gets messed up here because it will get messed up um as you can see mine's like bunched at the bottom but that's perfect so it's just normal and um these swirls still stayed the same don't worry i will be changing where i'm doing my video next time and then you're just going to sit with the pink and the just gonna swim my blues really short and i'll tell you guys why in a sec so we're just gonna swirl i really like this look once you swirl just going to pull together nice and tight this looks really really cool whoops so i'm just going to pull and then just do the same so take your blue and your four backward not in the pink and then take the pink and do a backward forward knot on the blue the blue is super short like you can barely do anything with this okay and then you're just going to one second okay then you're just going to take these two and just swirl them around each other so it's a swirl on a swirl and this looks really really cool and if you do it tight and like properly and stuff it looks really good and each time i've done this it's had a different result so i'm just showing you so here we go so this is the result of this one it just looks like i don't know really cool you just want to forward forward and backward knots and then and then these two and just detach them um that's what them to look like so those are the different effects you can achieve when you do this look and it's super super simple so yes i'm just going to show you guys now um why the blue is real short just because i have been experimenting with threads a little uh i had been asked to do a remake of this um i'll probably do a remake but the link to where i learned is in the sidebar and it's super easy like it's not one of the pattern things it's like pictures and really easy and sammy whammy full has a tutorial on this and i have two tutorials on this like i redid it twice and then i was just like i was gonna do a kindly stripe into it and then i messed up so it's just started experimenting and that's what i came out with so yes thanks for watching guys please write and comment and i will talk to you guys soon bye
