hello from coal mining company in this video I'm going to show you how to layer opaque vinyl and put it on glitter vinyl now this is a lot of a really interesting way to take your vinyl to the next level by keeping it interesting and adding some bling to it so I'm gonna flip over this glitter vinyl I'm gonna go ahead and get the weeding process started remember with glitter vinyl you don't have to be incredibly delicate but do you remember that glitter vinyl is a little more delicate like you can see it just pulled up a little bit of the tea there you want to kind of take your time with the letters you don't want to rip them off because again this is a nice easy weed vinyl and the blade cut it really really well but I still want my design to look right so here's the being a little difficult there you go that's good just kind of a good thing to do with any substrates it's a little bit finicky for your application vinyl just gonna be a little more tender that's for the rest of it it's pretty straightforward so nice going again peeling yep and then we've got a couple little areas here that I can remove like here is in the oh that there's a gap here between some letters that looks nice make sure my letters are pressed nicely to the transfer and here on the teeth right great now those are out of the way let's then dig into some of these letters remember that for any letter that you have a R or an A or any area that has a little gap you'll have to weed out the letters so just part of the weeding process I found a piece and like I said take your time with glitter because you might realize there's some details in here that you might want to grab that's why with glitter I say just slow and steady with the glitter it looks beautiful and I don't want to mess it up such a beautiful product okay so there's our base layer now let's go ahead and weave are opaque vinyl now pake unlike glitter it's much easier to tell you can tell right away where our cuts are with the glitter it's a little more hidden so that's why I say tender with the glitter but with opaque the rapid feels definitely the best just because it's so smooth so easy to work with literally just because anchor it down and pull away all done it's a couple little spots that I want to perfect hairs in between two letters done and in my go done now since this has been properly weeded we're gonna go ahead and take this over to the shirt and we're gonna layer it just like this I mean this is really just taking your artwork to the next level so I'll see you at the heat press and we'll get this on a shirt see you there
