alright guys today I'm going to show you how to properly freeze and storage your skipjack and I kind of did a little experiment where I decided to use skipjack that I've added table salt to when freezing them and then using skipjack that I didn't add anything to and kind of did a little experiment to see which one would catch more fish and it turns out that skipjack that I've used after freezing it where I didn't add any sort of you know table salt or any sort of you know thing to it I realize on a complan or fish so in this little episode I'm just going to show you what I think now is the best way to properly freeze your skipjack okay so I bought these Ziploc vacuum seal bags and I'm going to show you how this works so after you catch your skipjack here's a skipjack after you catch your skipjack without doing anything to disc it Jack I'm gonna directly put it in the bag like this and before what I would do is I would actually put table salt in here because I thought table salt would you know prevent decay and decomposition of the fish however I kind of realized that that the salt actually extracts the oil from the skipjack and it can possibly hurt the scent of the skipjack so that's a no-no so what I've started to do now is when I catch skipjack I put them in a ziploc vacuum seal bag which looks like this ok so now I'll just kind of show you how it works seal the bag like this sure it's all good and then you'll notice that there is a little that there's a circle here and it cut I mean the whole bag gives you directions on what to do but what you do is you put you lay the bag flat and you use your your pump place it directly on the circle and then you're going to start pumping it and what it's going to do is start pumping the air out of the back like this and you will see when I'm done that there's really no air at all in this bag and there's really no air bubbles you can actually do a little bit more if you need to but this is pretty much it like this okay you can put not just one in here but you can put you know probably two more but the big thing that I notice is that it keeps the bait more fresh and you don't want to do anything to it so anyway guys that's just the tip that I found to be very successful thanks for watching
