hey guys violet here coming at you with another tutorial this time it was the letter V which was requested by several people actually so what I have here are two pieces of string or craft plays that are about two feet long each and I'm using pink and black today so I made an X with these strings over my finger and now I'm making two loops just starting off the basic box stitch and then I'm going over under with the black and over under then pull it all tight together and now you are going to do 21 stitches so I'm just going to fast forward that for you and after making sure all my strings the same length you all right so here I have all my stitches done and now I'm ready to go into the 90 degree stitch so I don't know if you've seen the video that I made before but if not no worries because I'm about to show you again so what I've done is I've taken my pink string here on the left and I pulled it down just to make a loop and then I'm using the right string to wrap it around the black over on the right hand of this right hand side of the screen and then I'm taking my black going over that right pink string and under the next and I'm taking the other piece of black string and going under that left pink and under the right pink and then I just want to kind of straighten out the strings so don't have any weird twists or anything like that and then I'm pulling it tight okay so now I have one 90 degree stitch here and I'm going to do one regular box stitch just so that I can keep the stitch kind of in place and it's all easier to work with and we tighten that all and now we are ready to go into another 90 degree stitch so this time we are doing it um towards the other lanyard so I'm going to take my pink on the left and wrap it around the black and use my other pink on the right to make another loop and then I'm just using my black strings to weave over and under and this will kind of make your lanyard a little tighter and this two strings closer together and now tighten it and it's going to be kind of a weird angle but don't worry it will turn out in a second all right so now you just want to do box stitches and I found that doing about 18 stitches um kind of made my two lanyards even but if you need to do more or you want to do less you can go ahead and do that but I'm just going to fast forward a little bit now you so here we have the V letter lanyard and if you want you can tie it off or you can just tighten it in hope it stays maybe depending on the string you have it will and I just want to thank you for watching and have a good day
