okay when you're propagating artichokes you want to just get to the plant and dissect it so you cut it all the way down the fall can all go down a couple inches up above the ground whatever and then use your shovel and loosen up the whole ground you just want to make sure you get a little bit of root with each one of the shoots you can see the shoots individually I'll show you in a second you can see them individuals as individuals and then you just make sure you got some roots with them and then just go transplant up somewhere new that way you're getting the clone of the parent sometimes they'd have tri seeds or even starts you know I've never know what you're going to get but if you see something you like and you like that plant get a they all make shoots every year they make the bunch of shoots every year so you get those shoots and take one or two of them you know transplanted somewhere else and you'll just bill keep doing that forever and ever that way you're getting a clone of the parent and here you go well here it is right here these you can see they're individuals you know already got one or a couple of them over there and you can see there how they're individuals right there so you just simply go down there I already got loosened up somewhat and you see how the roots are down there like that can view some of the roots with it like that and that way you're you're getting your thing and then you just take it right over and I'm gonna put one right over here and I already got some setup for it so I'll take it and put it right there I'll pack it in and I'll become with killer artichoke plant next year and I'll give you a picture of it to show you how good I did
