g'day welcome to the simple cooking Channel today I'm going to show you how I make a mockup frappe just like the ones you can get from McDonald's and some of the other places like Starbucks it's my own take on it of course but it's very close to what you'll get out there probably even better so let's go a depending on how strong you want this put in 1 or 2 teaspoons of instant coffee just boil some water pour it in there so it's about just around the cup let's give that a stir now get an ice cube tray and just pour some of the coffee into each one usually about 6 to 8 of these this is a pretty big tray so I'm not filling it right to the top now just pop this in the freezer until it's turned into cubes of hard iced coffee now get a blender put those cubes in with the coffee then add anywhere from half a cup to a cup of milk just a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a bit of chocolate syrup or chocolate toffee topping of topping another tablespoon then want to blend this just pulse it we still want there to be sort of icy in some chunks of the ice in there so it totally blended and as you can see nice just pour it into whatever you're going to serve it in now for the next part you can either just whip some cream which is what I did because I think it's nicer with the freshly whipped cream or just by the creams you getting the can Cool Whip or whatever brand you like plus with that you can get a really nice pattern out of it then get some chocolate syrup or topping and just pour it over the top just stick in a straw and you go to town on it well hope you like this this is so good oh that is awesome but we mustn't forget the long spoon that deep down yeah oh Gordon Bennett I'll see you next time for my next meal
