Please explain how to make a denver omelette - dad edition

okay today we're going to do a uh denver type style omelette with green peppers onions ham and cheese and what you're going to need here is some chopped up green pepper and some chopped up onion and some chopped up ham and what we're gonna do and and and there's i've got some four cheese uh cheese there four different types of cheese and what we're gonna do is first now that we got all that chopped up we're going to come in here get yourself a decent omelette pan and i've got a little bit of actually bacon grease in there what we're going to do is just throw this in there for a couple of seconds to get the flavor to burst a little bit doesn't take too long just enough to make it clear and after that we need to go ahead oh i just remember we don't have any eggs okay and now we're going to take an egg mixed with a little bit of milk i usually use about like a an eighth of a cup right type thing we've got our got our skillet heated to a uh medium low let it get started here go ahead and put the egg in and then what i'm going to do is just sprinkle the the onion and green pepper on one end of the egg like that there we go now we got that done and we give that a minute to cook like that it's doing good i'll go ahead and take my ham i'll go ahead and put my ham in as well i'm using a virginia bait tam i found it gives a little more flavor on the kentucky boy at heart but virginia does make a good ham and now we're going to let that cook for a minute and what we're going to need is a spatula to help us flip it when it's ready i like to tilt it around and get all the loose egg to cook like that and you want it on a fairly low heat like i said medium medium low usually works pretty well now i keep it all down on one end mostly what i'm gonna do is take that egg and i'm gonna flip it over onto that didn't work too good all right so much for the omelette we will save it i'm not giving up the fight yet all right that looks like the prettiest thing in the world but it's okay move it around like this so then i gotta get away with doing a little well there you go now then we got the flip going i'm gonna let it finish cooking up i'll get my cheese gotta lift the golden brown uh hue to it on top it's just nice it's my prettiest omelet in the world but we'll go ahead and just put a little bit of cheese on top of that we can go ahead and shut the heat off let it just finish cooking for a minute just like that it's doing good doing good and that's pretty much the bottom line we're going to do that finish cooking up throw a couple pieces of toast in the toaster put that on the plate there we go and there's the toast it's ready to go strawberry preserves with the strawberry preserves she's only going to want one piece so put that aside cut this like this there you go there is your denver omelet thank you very much thing of beauty and enjoy forever you
