alright so I'm gonna show you guys real quick and how pumpking works this is a very easy thing to do what you need is a key blank cut to the deepest depths of whatever lock it is that you are working on I have Schlage right here so I took ashlag sc1 key this is a 5 pin key and a 5 pin lock I took a SC one I cut it to the deepest depths that a snake has which would be 9 so I cut it all the way down nines so it's a nine nine nine nine nine now what I want to do is take my lock that I want to bump have ashlag knob right here and I'm gonna make sure it's locked which it is take my key I'm gonna stick it into my lock all the way and then I'm going to back it out one notch then I want to take a tension wrench it's a TR for stem tension wrench I'm gonna stick it into the head of the key here and I'm gonna use my finger to put some rotational force on it which basically what that does is it makes the plug want to spin with the key whenever I bump it so I'm gonna take a plastic handle tool this could be a screwdriver or what I'm using right here is a buck brothers 1/2 inch chisel and I'm gonna use this to smack the key I'm not gonna use anything metal or wood metal will break it and woods just not hard enough so plastics perfect so a long-handled screwdriver or chisel will work now I'm going to smack this I've already bump keyed it a couple times and I'm not gonna say that I will be able to do it now but I still want to show you guys how to do it so I'm gonna basically give us a good smack and then I'm gonna reset the pins each time and pull the key about one notch each time I try this let it reset itself so I got it I got it bumped already that was only three hits three or four hits and I got it bumped you can see the key is turning so anyway that's how you bump key I've seen guys do with other ways but really the easiest way is just taking a key cutting it to the deepest depths sticking in the lock got one notch and hitting it with something plastic and you should be able to unlock it so go home try it this will work on quicksand legs Wiser's whatever the lock is doesn't matter it will work just go ahead and practice it and good luck
