they could be other colors there's we've done the scorpion tail we've done the scorpion bowl we've done the scorpion cocktail but we have not done the green scorpion this is from ezio71389 that's the thumbnails so anyway one and a half ounces of jack daniels uh one and a half ounces of vodka so i got jack daniels i got two bottles just in case something happens like i don't have an ounce and a half here which i probably don't for vodka it's a black label it's not black vodka it's regular clear vodka this is divine that's actually what's called um splash of blue curacao lemon lime soda that's a this is the soda stream lemon lime soda for those that are like what the heck so that's what that is i'm gonna put a low ball glass i'm gonna stir this drink because there's no need to um not stir it oh i got water in there yeah so let's do that hmm see if we got an ounce and a half in here oh you know what's always funny is how it always measures to an exact ounce of some type ounce hours and a half it's not exact but it's never like in between rarely ever do you get three quarters of an ounce that one was an exact ounce so now it's pretty crazy just a half ounce out of that just tap into it a little bit uh vodka we're gonna do an ounce and a half this is kind of a big boy drink oh i get in trouble with that big boy or girl drink i don't want to get any hate mail yeah sexist yeah top with little splash for the blue add you know what whoa see if we can get it to be a green color well that's not hard it's really weird apparently blue and brown make green yeah basic heart huh that's basic art yeah i always start with brown that's my base color for everything so get some ice in our so what's going on chillin um this week by the way i don't know apparently it's cocktail day cocktail day um hey i don't really know what that means um yeah you guys celebrate cocktails today and if you're watching this tomorrow it's good it's still it's amazing anyway right so it doesn't matter cocktail day is monday through sunday except for breakfast no that's okay too no it's cocktail time somewhere yeah i'll show you guys that's what you call an alcoholic so you're going with the time zone deal yeah why not said thoroughly by someone who doesn't really drink yeah i know so and i get this question a lot and i'm never gonna it's i'm gonna make a whole video on this eventually i guess because it's it's coming down to that but everybody keeps asking why don't i use the ice from here in here sometimes you do but if you look at this ice it's going to last a long time nice big ice cubes because the drink is already cold i stirred it so the ice is going to dilute a lot slower this ice is all rounded down it's kind of it just looks used and it's probably going to last half as long as it normally would because we took all this warm liquid we put it in here so the ice dilution it has to add water to the drink that's you need to have a little water to break up the alcohol and bring out some of the aromas but now you have fresh drink so when you hand this to somebody like your guests they have a drink that's going to be chilled longer that's really it and it doesn't look as ugly with old rounded down especially if you shake it and they're all broken up so that's why green scorpion smells like bourbon maybe that's what green scorpions smell like sour mash yeah i'd probably eat drink eat chocolate covered scorpions if they taste like bourbon probably not it's cool looking it is and we've done maybe one other drink similar to this where the color doesn't match the taste this tastes like bourbon it tastes not like straight bourbon but pretty close it's got tongue numbing bourbon you've got vodka in here too the vodka with the bourbon flavor it's just it melts away you don't you're not getting any vodk you're just getting bourbon you get a little bit of lime a little bit of carbonation but quite honestly not as much as i thought you'd get considering the splash of curacao is just there for color obviously this is a bourbon driven drink with just a hint of lime it'd be like bourbon with a little spritz of lime and call it good but it's green and that's gonna throw people off you look at that drink what do you think it's gonna taste like like to me i'm thinking a fruity maybe a midori or maybe even some sort of banana thing because it's got you know that color that can can combine and make a a green i just don't see bourbon from that until you bring it up to your nose then you go that's bourbon um i don't know if we've asked this question before but have we ever asked a question about the surprise of have you ever had a cocktail that was completely different in flavor for ins and everything from what you originally thought it would look like we'll ask it again cause we've got a lot more fans now so that's the question have you had a drink somebody handed to you you're like ooh it's gonna be cherry or grenadine you drink it and it's bacon or um campari or maybe striking bananas or something you just didn't even know maybe atomic hots right i guess that would the redwood might work with that not atomic huts because that's
