all right I'm back I wasted so much time the last couple days trying to get this stone to work here some other waste any more time I'm gonna do the scratch coat I just pick this up there's actually glue that you would spread you could spray it would help help it stick better but am I am I gonna waste my time I've already wasted my time you all right I finally figured it out I think part of my problem that I was having before on the juror walk because I wasn't applying the right amount of mortar so I started making a little bit wetter and I just started putting it on there I just stick it on and not worry so much my standards were too high I think trying to make it a hundred percent perfect I just like a kid my standards out the window and I just went to try to make it just even work at all and make it look DC before it's looking great so one thing I figured out that I needed to do before I went ahead with any of this is I figured I wanted to color the actual order result so I went out of the hardware store and I got some color so I picked out liquid cement terracotta and what I ended up doing was for one of these containers this is a 10 ounce I ended up mixing 10 liters of water so all I did was that just mix it up sugar lingual got it in my bucket and so the first batch one of these 10 ounces I was able to do this much I made a lot of it on the floor but 1 2 3 5 rooms I've done 13 in total so I'll be able to do just like 2 more bulbs and then probably a bottle for the grout it's a very dirty table and unfortunately it's like really humid outside so but this is another key to the sport of all you want to make it happen this is a paint mixer okay so before I mix the mortar for the next batch and show what I got going on so I'm using these little sticks these little spacer sticks to work my way up so as I'm working my way up I noticed you can see these two blocks are not perfectly level with each other not straight so by time I got to this row here I put a straight edge on it and it was stepping so what I ended up doing to save my step nests otherwise it would have got worse is I took a piece of corner beef from some drywall drywall corner bead I guess and I just when I first put my blocking over here I put the corner bead in and I'm just going on top of that with my little spacers and I had to pull the spacers out so that way the spacers don't go all the way to the back wall I think that's why I started getting out of level because these are out of bevel slightly so the spacers are more or less here but because I did that I'll use my straight edge well we could take a look and we can see that I am almost back to being perfectly straight again I'm really close to being perfect a little bit here it's a little bit of a gap but for what it was when I pull this out you'll be able to see it but the thing is I saved it so it's not going to get worse as I climb up the rest of this wall the other six feet all right let's go outside and mix the mortar remember I'm not a professional at this this is actually my first time doing this going to show you a couple techniques of how I'm making this work so hopefully it's going to work in the end nothing will fall off the moment so the first thing I do in case anybody's wondering it'll take the squirtle bottle and I'll squirt my first piece let's give you this it's pretty warm today it's in the 90s fellow driver real quick first piece I'm going to put on in this just a little tiny 88 by E and what I'll do is I'll get the back wet I'm going to butter it a little bit of this up that's all I'm trying not to be sloppy but yeah it is what it is yeah all right first one here campus since I just squirted an armored ride put the letter on okay this statute it mixed ups a little more better than the last couple badges and the best that I just whipped up is just going to be enough for one row here a little extra I'll take my spacer blocks at a free pet only stick it on and I'm gonna keep it in mind this magic obviously very wet it's very slippery learn sit down there so that I'll just think it's a little tuck knee three better have a unit depressants around back here you it's pretty easy but and what a thing and the other guys make it look so easy anybody else on YouTube they're doing as they're slapping it up on the wall well look how easy it is if not easy please for me and that's pretty much it just take your time turn straight I guess I want to try to use a level from now on as the easiest thing to do is so I'll have to go back and do this just put a straight edge on top as I go and that's it I guess what it is
