hey guys in this video I am going to show you how to test a crystal crystal is an electronic component which is difficult to test you can't test it with a multimeter or even component tester so I showed you a simple test using function generator and oscilloscope first you have to connect your crystal between function generator and oscilloscope a probe in series this is the resonance frequency of my crystal set the function generator voltage to five volt peak-to-peak and start to increasing the frequency when the function generator frequency reach to the resonance frequency of my crystal the voltage jumped to a higher value this voltage can be 5 to 10 times more than input voltage because of resonance so this crystal works well because it's react exactly with the frequency that's writing on the body thanks for watching
