all right today try to fix Claire's Honda I gotta go get an EGR valve exhaust gas recirculation valve something that at so head to Larry's auto part aka Napa something that at so we're going to fix that today all right we got the part surprisingly Larry's NAPA Auto Parts they didn't have it in stock in this location so they had a chip it in from the warehouse which is way on the other side of the island and I got it here Creek Dam past surprising for a Hawaii here so check out Larry's NAPA Auto Parts on wildlife if you live here I mean it's not I know you can also go to a junkyard but Yolo let's go all right back home walking up the hill to go fix this fish there she is like stallion of 1992 this is a 1992 Honda Accord LX going to fix the EGR valve see if it runs better all right slow down place here let's see what we need to get in there because they're an awesome tool roll keep all my handy tools in here no hate okay let's see your first looks like you got pull these guys off this off get that out of the way let's see and this might be there's a little clip down here that basically pulls off this portion that wire we can pop that bad boy out of there free up some space so we don't break it ever you set it out of the way all right so to kind of get better access to these bolts right there I had to pop this this guy off super simple it goes right here there's a 12 millimeter bolt there 12 millimeter bolt there you can pry this just off of the end just pops right off and we can flip this up for better access right in there one hole would have been better with a normal socket but right now I have a deep socket for this that bad boy out the new piece comes with this new gasket so don't forget to replace for that I just got the old valve out now I'm going to put the new one back in and button up everything else so it's pretty straightforward to 12 millimeter nuts you can see them go here in here sorry for that car come by gasket goes on right here boom is that new part here now go ahead and put it right put it in now so last part is just button it all up and somehow I missed that on the camera but button it up it's just basically plug and play put those bolts in put all the connectors back on tuck the wires back where they were and let's see if it starts look at that look stupid stage started so far so good pretty good pretty good and that is how you change the EGR valve on a 1992 Honda Accord Sedan LX on the street so we can sell it if you want to hit me up
