Please explain how to make pav buns (homemade indian dinner rolls recipe)

hi guys let's go ahead and whip it off today which is an Indian bread best enjoyed with any sort of vegetables especially it's a popular street food called power not as you can easily get far with the markets but there is something special about freshly homemade baked up a bite of them and trust me you'll be fan for life so let's go ahead and start cooking for our recipe we are going to use combination of whole wheat flour and all-purpose flour so in my bowl here I have 2.25 cups whole wheat flour that's the roti Atta 2 cups and 1/4 cup and here I have 1.25 cups all-purpose flour so 1 cup and 1/4 cup 1.25 cups all-purpose flour and in these flours we are going to add 1 teaspoon salt we are also going to use 8 grams yeess the 1 pack of yeast which is 2.25 teaspoons so 2 and 1/4 teaspoon in my class here I have 50ml of water so 1/4 cup lukewarm water and in this we are going to add yeast so stir in the yeast and to activate it we are going to add 1 teaspoon of sugar this is brown sugar you can use any regular sugar as well so mixing it well and let it stand for 10 minutes after which it will turn frothy which means our yeast is activated so now we will go ahead and put it in the flour so in the middle make a little well make some space and go ahead and add your water and yeast mixture and 1 teaspoon of oil I'm using peanut oil but you can use regular canola oil or vegetable oil as well so mix all these ingredients together to form a crumbly dough once all these ingredients are thoroughly mixed then grad add lukewarm water to form smooth dough you will need about 3/4 cups of water to form the dough so keep mixing it and once your dough is ready we'll go ahead and add 1 tablespoon of oil on top so that the dough doesn't dry out and to keep it moist and then we let it stand for three to four hours cover it with wet cloth and then let it stand for three to four hours after which you will notice that it has doubled in volume just like so so now we are going to form small lemon sized or tennis sized dough balls so crease your baking sheet and simply put in your dough balls onto it so we have managed to make 12 2 balls and will let the dough stand again for about 40 45 minutes after which you will see that the dough balls have risen again they have increased in volume so now we'll preheat the oven to 400 degrees and we are going to bake our power buns for 25 to 30 minutes after about 10 minutes take the power burns out and grease them with butter I have a stick of butter that I'm applying on top you can add more or less depending on your personal choice the more power you have the tastier it's going to be and we let it bake until the top is golden brown so hope you like this recipe and we'll give these power bonds or try let us know how they turn out for you you can see that they are nice and soft inside perfect to be enjoyed with vegetable curry or paaji if you like the recipe share it with friends and family and for more recipe ideas don't forget to subscribe to eat East Indian Channel I will see you soon with another exciting recipe so please do stay tuned thank you for watching have a very good day
