all right here we've got a 97 Isuzu Rodeo it's the v6 24-valve had an extreme tick I want to quit call it tick it was more more of a knock in the top side of the motor definitely under the valve cover sound like a lifter or rocker arm something of that nature had to remove the intake to get to the valve cover there's lots of plugs wires mounts for various lines fuel lines etc once you get this far you get the light here you can see you got your camshaft there great you can wiggle these rocker arms that are not on the compression stroke you see they move that's normal maybe a little excessive they go side to side a little bit aware there probably but this is the real problem up here on the exhaust side you can see this one Wiggles it Wiggles but you shouldn't be able to it should turn on that shaft but there's enough wear on that shaft that it moves up and down also you should say snug on that shaft and not weeble up and down of course it's going to turn on the shaft but you shouldn't be able to pick it up and it's really hard to show in this video but anyways or excuse me trying to put the light on okay right here see it moves now if I grab it with both fingers from both sides I can also pick it up and down a little can't really see it in the video but you'll be able to feel it there's where on that rocker shaft I need to take off this timing cover and probably remove the timing chain and etc so that this whole assembly with the camshaft can be removed I'll post updates and hopefully this helps somebody else also thanks for looking
